Of so many things there are to talk about, why do I always contact you about music and culture? That is because it's only what I have, and I am contacting you so that we can use it to launch a community agricultural project in my hometown, Akwukwu-Igbo, in the Delta State region of Nigeria.

For so many years I have been involved in projects like this for the benefit of other communities in North America, Mexico and Central America. The experiences learned encourage me to introduce our own campaign to build community farms to feed the immediate hunger, economic and social needs of the people who are depending so much on outside sources even though there is an abundance of land for farming.

I offer for sale these collections of songs from my CD, "BACK TO THE ROOTS - ROOTS AND WISDOM", to use the funds to immediately begin work with other Akwukwu-Igbo organizations at home and abroad, to make agriculture cool again. When all the populations of African people at home and abroad are daily demanding the food products they have learned to eat from home, who will be farming these products for them?

We have to do our part now to farm what we can and feed who we can. We will lease lands for farms. We can employ a good number of young people who currently have no work. But first, they have to believe through our campaign that it is cool to farm. There is nothing wrong with it. It is not dirty. It is not only for people who did not go to school. In fact, you have to go to school to farm. The farm feeds the people!
