TOUR PACKAGES: BICYCLE TOUR PACKAGE I (3 Days) Here is an example of a weekend Bicycle Nature Ride & Hike into the Mayan jungle in Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Quintana Roo Mexico, ceremonial and cultural center of the Mayas in the Yucatan peninsula. You can fly directly from your home country specifically to join this tour, or you can join when you are already visiting popular holiday spots of the Mexican Mayan Riviera like Cancun, Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, or Tulum. DAY 1 (FRIDAY): DAY 2 (SATURDAY): Reception and dinner at El Centro Cultural Afro Maya on the edge of town in Carrillo Puerto. Everyone will spend the night here, (and if requested also), in a local hotel. There will be cultural video screenings and musical presentations this night to welcome tour participants. DAY 3 (SUNDAY): BICYCLE TOUR PACKAGE II (FOR EXPERIENCED RIDERS ONLY - 6 Days) **DAY 4 (MONDAY) OPTIONAL: ADDITIONAL TOURS: PUNTA ALLEN, AND THE TOUR OF THE MAYAN COAST OF MAHAHUAL, PUNTA HERRERO AND XCALAK A one day drive to Punta Allen, or the Mayan coast of either Mahahual, Punta Herrero, or Xcalak at the frontiers of Mexico and Belize in the caribbean sea. Eat seafood, see the nature sites, or shop for beautiful crafts of the artesanias of Mexico and the Yucatan peninsula. Return to Carrillo Puerto the next day TOUR OF THE MAGICAL TOWN OF BACALAR AND HER LAGOON OF SEVEN COLORS. The town of Bacalar is known as a Pueblo Magico or "Magical Town", for it's natural beauty, culinary history and it's legendary lagoon of seven colors. Visit this town, swim in the lagoon, shop and taste special cuisines that are a part of the Mayan people of the Yucatan peninsula. Tour returns to Carrillo Puerto the same day and is dispersed in the morning after breakfast. TOUR OF THE "RUTA DE LAS IGLESIAS" AND "CUEVA DE LOS SERPIENTES" This is a tour to introduces participants to the culture and history of the Mayan people who inhabit the Yucatan peninsula. Visit typical Mayan towns and Villages and some of the treasured natural beauties that you do not read about in tourist books or magazines. Taste authentic mayan dishes as prepared and served among the mayas for ages. Tour returns to Carrillo Puerto the same day and is dispersed the next day after breakfast.
