An international center for African and Mayan cultural studies has gone into construction in Felipe Carrillo Puerto, in the middle of the Yucatan peninsula in the Mexican Caribbean.
What will a African and Mayan Cultural Center offer
?
An African / Mayan Cultural Center in Felipe Carrillo Puerto will be an
open and free space for help and research with special projects to promote the
culture of the Mayan people of Mexico and Central America, and African people in Africa and all
over the world where African people live.
Proposals are now being reviewed from
musicians and artists
who have products to showcase in these cultural categories. make
